Cycleboard Offers A More Stable Alternative To Electric Skateboards

We’re big fans of electric longboards for their utility in short commutes, saving you from the drudgery of walking while making the erstwhile short trip a whole lot more fun. For those who prefer having something to hold on to while they’re cruising down roads at 20 mph, however, the Cycleboard should offer a more suitable alternative.
A motorized kick scooter, the rig brings the same convenience to your commutes as an electric skateboard, all while facilitating better balance and steering. Granted, it’s heavier and a lot more bulky than a typical longboard (it weighs 44 pounds), but if you’re willing to put up with the size and weight, it should offer a better riding experience.
The Cycleboard comes with a 450W hub motor that allows you to ride at top speeds of up to 20 mph, all while pushing out enough torque to ride up 20-degree incline. Steering is accomplished by simply leaning into any angle you want to turn into, with a maximum lean angle of 45 degrees for carving around tight corners. It comes with two options in batteries, standard and extended, with the former providing a 15-mile range and the latter stretching that to 25 miles.
Features include a trio of shock-absorbing tires on aluminum wheels for better stability, a self-centering suspension, a trigger throttle control with an LCD display, a collapsible handle, and five riding modes. It can accommodate riders up to 250 pounds.
